Subramanian is based in Mumbai and will assume responsibilities for portfolio and exit management and administrative duties, in addition to his current role in fund administration, compliance and legal, the fund said in a statement here.
He joined Nexus Venture Partners in 2010 from Kotak Mahindra Investments, where he spent 14 years and was Senior Vice President - Finance and Operations.
He previously worked at Ashok Leyland Finance.
Nexus Venture Partners has offices in India and Silicon Valley, and comprises of entrepreneurs who have founded and scaled large global companies.
