The AFDP, headed by world football body, FIFA's vice president Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein, aims to provide effective need-based assistance to all Asian football associations, said a release.

Talking about the association, Prince Ali said, "We are truly happy to be a part of this partnership to identify and grow football talent from some of the most marginalised areas of the world."

"I believe it is very important for each child in the world to live and grow well and Magic Bus is playing a large role in making a different sort of future possible for children. We are proud to be their supporters," he added.

"We are truly honoured to be part of the AFDP. Crucial support like this have helped us create a model using football among other activities that makes it possible for each child to have a good life and grow up well," said Matthew Spacie, Founder-CEO of the NGO.

"Magic Bus' Football teams take on immense challenges such as breaking gender stereotypes, at the same time as competing to win games," he added.

'Magic Bus' works to nurture 2.25 lakh of India's most marginalised children out of poverty using activities and sports and also supports football teams in Delhi and Mumbai, the release added.
