NHPC restores Chutak power plant's unit in Kargil

NHPC has restored Unit-2 of Chutak power station in Kargil district of Jammu and Kashmir.
The unit was shut down due to sudden increase in the water level earlier.
Chutak power station is run-of-the-river scheme with an installed capacity of 44 MW and harnesses the Hydropower potential of river Suru in Kargil district.

Cyient to sell stake in Infotech Enterprises * IT services firm Cyient today said it will sell its entire stake in Infotech Enterprises Information Technology Services.
"The company has signed a definitive agreement to sell its entire stake in Infotech Enterprises Information Technology Services Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary engaged in IT services," it said in a statement. The intent is to focus on core engineering services and DNO businesses, it added.

No financial details were disclosed."The impact of this transaction on Earnings Per Share (EPS) is expected to be neutral," it added.

PayUMoney, Lendingkart to launch joint programme for SMEs * Online payments company PayUMoney today said it is collaborating with online credit evaluation platform 'Lendingkart' to launch a joint initiative to help Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) grow faster through easy access to capital.
The joint programme, "Lendingkart Grow", aims to build the country's largest and the most valuable growth ecosystem for SMEs and startups. It provides loans to SMEs amounting from Rs 50 thousand to 50 lakh, via its affiliated partners in one to three days.
