NIA files chargesheet against 10 NDFB(S) militants

The NIA has filed a chargesheet in a special court here against 10 NDFB (Songbijit) militants who were allegedly involved in the killing of Adivasis in Assam's Kokrajhar district in December last year.
The case pertains to the NDFB(S) attack on innocent people of Pakiriguri village under Serfanguri Police Station in Kokrajhar district of Assam in which five Adivasi people were killed and as many sustained grievous injuries, an official release said.
The 10 NDFB(S) militants against whom the chargesheet was filed were Milan Mushahary, Swmkhwr Brahma, Swmkhwr Mushahary, Bullet Basumatary, Ganda Basumatary, Bina Basumatary, Jayanto Mushahary, Gautam Mahalia, Khanda Daimary and Dwithai Basumatary.
The NIA had registered the case on February 16 under different section of the IPC, Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967 and Arms Act, 1959.
