The 35-year-old record producer, who has five-year-old Monroe with his ex-wife Mariah Carey, said he wants to instill a sense of self-worth in his little girl, reported ET online.
"(I want to teach her that being attractive) is just about self-esteem. It's about understanding who you are and your own culture," Cannon said.
The singer also has five-year-old son Moroccan with the "Without You" hitmaker and his primary concern is his children.
"There's nothing to tell ... Me and Mariah get along great, and it's a process, nobody is holding nothing up. Why would I hold it up? I want her to be happy. She is such a beautiful spirit, and we put the kids first," he said.
