Nickel and copper armature rose at the non-ferrous metal market today due to stockists' buying amid good demand from alloy industries.
While, select copper, aluminium ingots and zinc prices eased owing to sluggish demand from industrial users.
Nickel prices gained by Rs 10 per kg to Rs 1,065 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 1,055 and copper armature inched up to Rs 471 per kg.
However, copper cable scrap, copper scrap heavy, copper billets, copper sheet cuttings and aluminium ingots prices edged down by Rs 2 per kg each to Rs 479, Rs 474, Rs 507, Rs 465 and Rs 174 as against Rs 481, Rs 476, Rs 509, Rs 467 and Rs 176, respectively.
Zinc softened by a rupee per kg to Rs 235.
