Nickel prices eased further at the non-ferrous metal market here following stockists selling amid weak demand from alloy industries.
Elsewhere, select copper and brass utensils scrap also weakened further owing to mild demand from industrial users.
While, copper scrap heavy and brass sheet cuttings recovered marginally owing to fresh demand from consuming industries.
Nickel moved down by Rs 5 per kg to Rs 960 from Thursday's closing level of Rs 965 and copper utensils edged down by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 424 as against Rs 426.
Copper cable scrap, copper armiture, copper billets and brass utensils scrap softened by a Re per kg each to Rs 458, Rs 448, Rs 486 and Rs 343 respectively.
However, copper scrap heavy and brass sheet cuttings inched up per kg each to Rs 454 and Rs 354.
