Jonathan Uche, 38, was staying illegally in India and allegedly supplied drugs, particularly cocaine, in Delhi's party circles.
Following a tip-off, Uche was arrested from Chitragupta Road opposite Ramakrishna Ashram Marg Metro Station where he had come to supply the drug to one of his clients, Ravindra Yadav, Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime) said today.
Yadav said Uche had come to India in 2010 on a business of readymade garments when another Nigerian named Paul contacted and later hired him for expanding the drug client base.
During the investigation, Uche said his associate Paul flew back to Nigeria three weeks ago to solemnize his marriage.
