Night temperatures rise in UP; three die of cold

Three persons, including a minor girl, died due to cold in Uttar Pradesh's Bhadoi district in the past 24 hours as weather remained mainly dry in the state.
Eight-year-old Chanda devi died in Babu Sarai area, while Shiv Kahar(80), Nanah Dhakaar (50) died due to cold in Bhadoi district, official sources said.
According to the MeT department dense to moderate fog occurred at few places.
Night temperature rose appreciably over Agra division, rose in Gorakghpur, Varanasi, Allahabad, Kanpur divisions and changed little in the remaining divisions over the state.
Lowest minimum temperature was 4.8 deg Celsius recorded at Nazibabad.
In Lucknow, the maximum recorded temperature is 21.5 degree Celsius, one degree below from normal and the minimum was at 7.1 degree Celsius.
Rain or thundershowers would occur at few places tomorrow over west UP, the MeT department said.
