Nine militants held with arms in Rohtas

Nine activists of the proscribed militant outfit Tritiya Prastuti Committee (TPC) were arrested along with arms and detonators from Panirghat in Bihar's Rohtas district, police said today.
The nine TPC militants were arrested during a combing operation late last night, Sasaram Sub-Divisional Police Officer Alok Ranjan said.
Police recovered three rifles, two pistols, 43 cartridges and 40 detonators from their possession.
The operation was led by Superintendent of Police M S Dhillon and Assistant Superintendent of Police (Operations) Mohammad Suhail.
