Kumar, former Chief Minister of Bihar, slammed the PM for not fullfilling promises made to bring back black money to the country even after 150 days of coming to power on the second day of his "Samparak yatra" at Gopalganj and Siwan today.
Reminding people about assertions of Narendra Modi, Rajnath Singh and yoga guru Swami Ramdev on black money by playing audio clips during poll, Kumar asked the poor to seek answer from BJP leaders as "when will they get Rs 15-20 lakh which was promised to every poor once the entire quantum of black money returns to the country?"
Pointing to incursion by China in Indian territories during the visit of its President Xi Jingping and repeated ceasefire violations by Pakistan on borders, Kumar asked "where is your 56 inch chest?"
Kumar, who resigned from the post of Bihar CM after his party received severe drubbing in the general election, also reminded people of PM promise of providing "special package, special category status and special attention to Bihar" and asked them "have anything done on this count?"
Kumar accused BJP of not fullfilling promises made to farmers to fix Minimum Support Price (MSP) at the level which would be one-and-a-half times of the input cost of the grain.
"The MSP announced this year has witnessed only 3.5 per cent increase," he alleged.
Accompanied by state JD(U) President Basistha Narayan Singh, the senior JD(U) leader exhorted party workers to fan across villages to make people aware of the "true" face of Prime Minister and BJP so that they donot fall in the "trap" laid down by saffron party in the Parliamentary poll.
