Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today directed state fire services officials to establish a centralised call centre for timely relay of information on fire incidents to fire brigade, primary health centres and police.
"We need to establish a centralised call centre to relay information about fire incidents not only to the fire stations, but also the nearest primary health centres and police stations. This will help expedite arrival of ambulances and cut down on loss of lives and property," Kumar said.
