Kumar launched the review of all state departments from today to give fresh direction to streamline their functioning under the new government.
While reviewing the Cooperative department with minister Alok Mehta, Chief Secretary Anjani Kumar Singh and others, the CM emphasised to inspire at least one member from each family to become member of PACs, an official statement said here.
While assessing activities of PACs, the CM took stock of programmes run for farmers and women who have overwhelming presence in the cooperative bodies at grassroot level.
In order to make PACs viable, the CM stressed on timely election of the organisations and their inclusive membership.
Kumar appreciated online/Mobile App monitoring used by PACs in ongoing paddy procurement in the state.
He stressed on establishment of a model PACS in every sub division.
