Bihar Chief Minister and Janta Dal (United) president Nitish Kumar will address a day-long conference of party workers here on December 10, aimed at expanding the JD(U)'s footprint in the national capital.
According to the party's Delhi unit, all issues related to the city will be discussed in the conference to be held at Talkatora Stadium on Sunday.
Satya Prakash Mishra, party spokesperson for Delhi, said that JD (U) will strengthen its base in the city as there is sizeable population hailing from Bihar and eastern Uttar Pradesh.
"The JD (U) chief will address workers' conference on Sunday, which is aimed at discussing issues related to Delhi," Mishra said.
The party had contested over 100 seats in the election to all three municipal corporations but had performed poorly.
