Nitish, Sushil, Tejashwi congratulate U-19 team for World Cup

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today congratulated the India Under-19 cricket team for their splendid victory against Australia in the World Cup finals.
"All members of the U-19 team deserve kudos for doing the country proud by winning the World Cup by virtue of hard work and tireless efforts", a release quoted Kumar as saying.
It also said that Kumar telephoned the father of Anukul Roy, who hails from Samastipur district in the state, and congratulated him for the sterling performance of his son who took 14 wickets during the series, two of these in the finals.
Meanwhile, in a statement, Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi also congratulated the U-19 team for their victory and impressive performance in the World Cup.

Former Deputy CM and currently leader of the opposition in state assembly Tejashwi Yadav tweeted, "Congratulations U-19 Team for winning World Cup. You deserve it. Great team work. Proud of Team India".
