"There is absolutely no funds crunch for the government to pay regular salaries to its employees and there was no need for the employees to worry," the Chief Minister said in a statement here.
Development projects will be going on in full swing and the projects already declared will be on track with the people continuing to derive benefits out of them, he said.
The Chief Minister, however, maintained that the withdrawal of Special Category Status has had a dismal effect on the state's development as the government was finding it difficult to launch new schemes.
However, the state government will continue its fight to press for its demands for the restoration of Special Category Status and reintroduction of NEIIPP.
