The service of Nilgiris Mountain Rail from Mettupalayam to Udhagamandalam and back has been cancelled for another five days from December 4 due to the prevailing weather conditions.

Much to the disappointment of the tourists and 'toy train' lovers, the service was suspended from November 16, barring two days in the middle of the month, owing to landslips and falling of trees after heavy rain, a railway press release said here on Tuesday.
