No possibility of joining Janata Parivar: RLD

Rashtriya Lok Dal general secretary Jayant Chaudhary today ruled out the possibility of his party joining the Janata Parivar.
"Earlier Janata Parivar was very big, but with time there were changes in politics and we splintered. Today, a small group forms and what will be its shape time will tell," Chaudhary told reporters in a reply to a question.
"There are no talks, no proposal and no possibility," he added.
The six parties of erstwhile Janata Parivar are tipped for a merger to form a new socialist entity and a formal announcement will be made by SP chief Mulayam Singh Yadav.

RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav had dared BJP president Amit Shah with slogan 'Ek Jhanda; Ek Nishan' (One flag, one symbol) in Patna, saying other "secular" parties may be invited to join the new entity.
The six parties, which are in the process of uniting are Janata Dal (United), Lalu Prasad's Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), Samajwadi Party, Om Prakash Chautala's Indian National Lok Dal (INLD), Janata Dal (Secular) led by former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda and Samajwadi Janata Party (SJP).
