Such "baseless" claims have been made against the NDA government by certain opposition parties, the chief of RPI (A), an ally of BJP, said.
"The allegations (that the NDA government is attempting to change the Constitution) have been levelled by the opposition. These allegations are baseless. Nobody is making any changes in the Constitution and those who do so, we will change them (throw out of power)," Athawale said.
The minister of state for social justice and empowerment said Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a great admirer of Gautam Buddha and his path of peace and compassion.
People want Buddha (peace) and not 'yuddha' (war), the Union minister said.
