No respite from heat in Bihar

Bihar continued to sizzle in the summer heat with Gaya recording the highest temperature at 40.8 degree celsius today.
The maximum temperature at Gaya increased over its yesterday's record of 39.7 degrees, Patna meteorological centre said.
In Patna, the maximum temperature climbed marginally and was registered at 38.2 degree celsius against 37.4 degrees yesterday, the met office bulletin said.
Bhagalpur recorded the maximum temperature of 38.1 degree celsius, while in Purnea it was 34.7 degree celsius.
The Met department forecast mainly clear sky for tomorrow with no respite from the scorching heat.
