When asked about "rebellious" attitude being shown by BJP's Amritsar (East) MLA cum Chief Parliamentary Secretary Navjot Kaur Sidhu against Akalis, Sharma told reporters here that he would talk to her to advise her not to air her adverse views in public.
When reminded that Kaur, wife of cricketer-turned- politician Navjot Singh Sidhu, had threatened not to contest next polls in case BJP did not snap ties with SAD, Sharma said that only the BJP high command was competent to decide as to with whom alliance was to be done or continued or who was to be fielded as candidate.
He advised Kaur to take up at party forum her views and differences, if any.
Local Bodies minister Anil Joshi also denied any rift in the SAD-BJP coalition, but admitted that sometimes some differences of opinion cropped up. "However, these are solved as per coalition 'dharma'."
On the issue of Indian Institute of Management, Joshi said that he had not said anything which could have any adverse effect on the alliance.
According to a media report quoting Joshi, the Akalis had tried to shift proposed IIM in Amritsar to Bathinda.
He also denied that Navjot Kaur Sidhu's constituency was being denied development funds.
"Rs 60 crore was sent for the constituency and Rs 5 crore were already given from Amritsar's Improvement Trust fund," he said.
Joshi disclosed that names of three cities Amritsar, Jalandhar and Ludhiana were sent to Central government for purposes of Smart cities, adding it was for the Centre to take any decision as to which was to be included in the list.
