Non-edible oils recover on renewed demand

Castor seeds bold and castor oil commercial prices recovered at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market today on renewed demand from shippers and soap industries.
Linseed oil rose further due to rising offtake from allied and paint industries on the back of ensuing festival seasons.
While, groundnut oil and refined palmolein prices ruled stable in absence of any worthwhile buying activity.
In non-edible section, castor seeds bold climbed by Rs 25 per 100kg to Rs 4,100 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 4,075, castor oil commercial moved up by Rs 5 per 10kg to Rs 850 from Rs 845 and linseed oil gained by Rs 5 per 10kg to Rs 840 as against Rs 835 previously.

Moving to edible section, groundnut oil and refined palmolein closed unchanged at Rs 880 and Rs 480 per 10kg each, respectively.
