Normalcy retuning to Barkagaon PS areas: Hazaribagh DC

Normalcy is returning fast in the Barkagaon police station area that witnessed violence on October 1, claiming four lives.
Deputy Commissioner Ravi Shankar Shukla said as peace was returning fast, the administration might lift prohibiyory orders under section 144 CrPC so that people could participate in the ensuing Durga Puja and Muhurrum festivals.
He said the administration has started distribution of foodgrains to the families of the bereaved families.
Foodgrains were also given to the needy families.
He also said except one school which remained closed due to disturbances, all others opened today.
