There was no fresh casualty due to rain related incidents anywhere in Jalore and Sirohi districts, officials said, adding Nagaur recorded the maximum rainfall of 13 cm till 8:30 am today.
The only road connecting Mount Abu and Abu-Road was still obstructed following minor landslide in last three days, the senior Sirohi district official said.
Only vehicles in emergency were being allowed to ply on the road as it was being repaired while a team of 40 NDRF personnels are involved in rescue operations, he said.
All precautionary measures were still being maintained, including seven helicopters being kept on standby to meet any flood challenge in Jodhpur, Pali, Jalore and Sirohi districts, a state Calamity and Relief Department official said.
Except for Jodhpur-Bhilari section where the trains were cancelled today, all other rail routes were opened after repairs, Chief Public Relation Officer and DGM of North Western Railways, Tarun Jain told PTI.
Bhagatki-Kothi and Ahmedabad trains would continue to be diverted till the tracks were repaired, he said.
Ladnu recorded 11 cm rains followed by Kheenvsar and Phalodi 8 cm, Vijaynagar (Ajmer), Ramgarh Shekhwati 7 cm each, Nok and Pokhran 5 each, Pilibanga, Degana and Bikaner 4 cm each; Jodhpur, Deedwana, Khajuwala, Anupgarh, Jaisalmer and Laxmangarh 3 cm each, and one to 2 cm at many places in the state.
Jaipur experienced intermittent drizzles and recorded 2 mm rainfall.
