Amid speculations over the name of new BJP state president, Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal today said he is not in race for any post.
Meghwal while talking to reporters in Bikaner last night said it is for the central leadership of the party to decide who will be the next state president.
The Minister of State for Water Resources, who represents Rajasthan's Bikaner parliamentary constituency, said he has been a committed worker of the BJP and fulfils the responsibility entrusted upon him with dedication.
However, he said that he is not in race for any post.
"I am a party worker and want to remain the same," he added.
The post is vacant after the BJP MLA Ashok Parnami resigned as the party's state president on April 16 citing personal reasons.
