Tamil Nadu Municipal Administration Minister S P Velumani Saturday rubbished reports alleging nepotism in awarding government contracts and asserted that he has not misused his position.
The minister described the charges as baseless.
"I have not misused my position or done anything wrong... it is a baseless allegation and without any evidence," he told reporters here.
To a query on the release of seven convicts in the Rajiv Gandhi assassination case, he said a decision on it has to be taken by Chief Minister K Palaniswami.
