Bhag Singh, former MLA and member of DAC of Punjab headed by Gopal Krishan Chatrath alleged that the show cause notices issued to three Congress MLAs were "illegal since Chatrath had not called a meeting of DAC and neither took the committee members into confidence".
Singh said that show cause notices issued to Jagbir Singh Brar, Satnam Kainth and Karan Kaur, all MLAs had "no legal validity".
He said that he was member of the committee along with former minister Gurkanwal Kaur, former Deputy Speaker Jaswant Singh and Congress leader Rana Ravinder Singh.
Singh also flayed the working of PPCC President Partap Singh Bajwa and accused him of allegedly failing to take all Congressmen along.
He said that if the command of PPCC is given to Capt Amarinder Singh, the party could win the 2017 Assembly elections.
