NSCN cadre shot dead in Kohima

In a suspected clash between rival NSCN factions, a cadre was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in broad day light in Kohima today.
The unidentified gunmen fired upon a 'self styled lieutenant' James belonging to (Khole-Kitovi) faction of NSCN killing him on the spot near the Raj Bhawan here, police said.
Police found the victim had bullet injury on the head and recovered a grenade from him, which was safely defused by the bomb disposal squad.
