NSE to conduct mock trading session on Sep 21

National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Friday said it will conduct mock trading on various segments from primary as well as disaster recovery sites on September 21.

In separate circulars, NSE said mock trading has been scheduled for capital market, futures and options, commodity derivatives, currency derivatives, and securities lending and borrowing market.

The mock trading from primary site in the capital market, commodity derivatives and currency derivatives segments will begin at 10:00 am and last till 11:00 am.

For futures and options, and securities lending and borrowing market, the scheduled time for mock trading is between 10:15 am to 11:00 am.

Besides, the exchange provided the schedule for mock trading from the disaster recovery sites for these segments.

"Trades resulting from this session shall not attract any obligation in terms of funds pay-in and/or securities pay-in and/or pay-out," NSE said in similar worded separate circulars.

Mock trading sessions are generally conducted by stock exchanges to test their system performance as part of their efforts to provide a robust platform to members in order to enable flawless trading.
