The group, which was hugely successful in the 90s and early 00s, will be making a special guest appearance on SNL, reported E! online.
NSYNC made the announcement on Twitter. "Together again... Gee, it's good to be together again,"' the group tweeted.
The band, which consisted of Timberlake, Jc Chasez, Chris Kirkpatrick, Joey Fatone, and Lance Bass, first formed in 1995. The group announced a hiatus in 2002 and have regrouped temporarily for charity performances and special occasions fairly regularly in the intervening years.
The band has never officially announced their permanent split.
