Odisha BJP condemns police action on party leaders in WB

Odisha BJP chief K V Singhdeo today condemned the lathicharge by police during protests by party workers in West Bengal and termed it as an "inhuman act" of the Trinamool Congress government in the state.
The incident was an inhuman act of the Trinamool Congress government, police and the administration in West Bengal, Singhdeo said in a statement here.
BJP national secretaries Siddharth Nath Singh and Suresh Pujari were injured in lathicharge by police during protests by party workers in West Bengal today.
Singhdeo also wished quick recovery for Singh and Pujari, the former Odisha BJP president, who sustained injuries on his head and was undergoing treatment.
