Odisha Cabinet approves excise policy for four months

The Odisha Cabinet today approved the excise policy for the first four months of 2014-15 fiscal with a proposal to hike the license fee by 20 per cent during the period.
"The complete excise policy for the year 2014-15 will be taken later," Chief Secretary J K Mohapatra said referring to the new government after general elections.
He said all liquor outlets under different categories will be allowed to operate with the enhanced licensing fees till implementation of the new policy.
