(OJM) secretary general Jagneswar today quit the party following the death of former Rajya Sabha MP Pyarimohan Mohapatra.
Jagneswar, a former BJD MLA, in a statement said that he had joined OJM in 2012 after being influenced by Mohapatra.
"As Mohapatra is no more, there is no point in continuing in the party, he said.
"I have severed all my associations with OJM," Jagneswar added.
