In another tweet, the National Conference working president said it was only the ruling coalition partners -- PDP and BJP -- who agreed with this stand.
"Seriously? By which stretch of imagination? I haven't met anyone in the valley except the BJP-PDP ostriches who agree!" he said.
One person was killed and several others injured in security forces action during fresh clashes with protestors in Chadoora area of Budgam district today.
Police reports, however, later in the day stated that three persons were killed and over 150 injured in the clashes at several places after Friday prayers, raising the death toll during the current unrest to 53.
