Omar lauds Congress for making PM to react to 'suit-boot' remarks

Says BJP should also realise that people are no longer interested in hearing about what Congress did during its time in power

Former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah has congratulated Congress for getting Prime Minister Narendra Modi to respond directly to Rahul Gandhi's "suit-boot" attack, showing that it had hurt the BJP more than they had shown.

"Congratulations, by getting the PM to respond directly to Rahul's 'suit-boot' attack, the BJP has shown that it hurt more than they let on," Omar, working president of National Conference, posted on social networking site twitter.

The former chief minister said BJP should also realise that people are no longer interested in hearing about what Congress did during its time in power.

"At some point, BJP must realise that people no longer want to hear what Cong did/didn't do but what this govt has done or will do," he added.
