"All speculation regarding early Assembly elections are false.
"People have voted NC-Congress coalition government to power and it will complete its full term of six years," Omar told a large gathering at a ceremony to lay the foundation stone of the Rs 3,113 crore Baglihar-II project.
"Some people spread talk about early Assembly polls. People have voted us to power, which we are not going to relinquish before the due date," he said, maintaining that his government would complete its full term.
Assembly polls could be held any moment and there was very little time left for the exercise, he had been quoted as saying.
