Bhushan alias Ravinder, who had been sentenced to life imprisonment by a court in connection with a murder case of Ghaziabad in 1983, was yesterday arrested from Budaun district on a tip-off, police said.
"After spending 18 months in jail, Bhusan had gone out on bail. But thereafter, he did not appear before the court. Subsequently, court had also issued warrant against Bhushan," said a senior police official.
The official said after absconding, Bhusan worked with a hotel in Babugarhi Chawani area for three years and then went to Budaun district.
