One dead, 10 injured as shops collapse

One person died today, while ten others were injured after four shops in the Nuntia area here caved in, the police said.
Four shops near Haldia More in Nuntia collapsed this evening and one person identified as Mostafizur Rehman (22), a resident of Moshagram under the limits of Shyampur police station died after he was stuck under the debris, said a senior police officer of Bagnan police station.
A huge police contingent and fire brigade personnel rushed to the and ten injured persons were pulled out of the rubble, the officer said adding, four of them have been hospitalised.
