One Direction stars will reportedly hit the road for their upcoming US tour in a customised Scooby Doo tour van worth a whopping 70,000 pounds.
The old camper van lookalike is currently getting refurbished in a factory in Enfield with state-of-art facilities for the band, reported Daily Mirror.
The singers are planning to get their 1D logo stamped on the green and blue van which is equipped with plasma screen filling the entire wall behind the driver's head, individual entertainment consoles among other facilities in the van.
"The boys love cartoons and Scooby Doo is a cult classic. They wanted to do something special ahead of their US tour and decided to get a bespoke tour bus created.
"The guys are desperate to have it shipped over to America so it can join them on tour. Scooby's obviously a US import and massive out there so they know the van will be a hit with both the fans - and their mums," said a source.
The mystery van is reportedly not going to be ready before six weeks.
"If management decide it's too expensive and impractical then they'll simply keep it as a fun vehicle for travelling from city to city over here," the source added.
The boyband seems to be following the trend of Beatles who famously owned a magical mystery tour bus.
