Three men were booked and one of them was arrested for allegedly attempting to rape a 22-year-old woman and filming the act in Uttar Pradesh's Shamli district, police said on Monday.
The alleged rape attempt took place on Sunday and one of the accused was arrested the same day, they said.
The other two accused are absconding and a search for them is on, Station House Officer (SHO) Subhash Singh Rathor said.
According to the woman's complaint, the three accused came inside her home when she was alone and forcibly took her to a nearby house.
The men then attempted to rape her and also filmed the act, Rathor said citing the complaint.
She resisted them and raised an alarm after which the men fled, the SHO said.
The video of the incident was also uploaded on social media, the officer added.
