One held with 20 grams heroin in Jammu
During a routine drive, a police team stopped a car at Khalsa Chowk, Nanak Nagar and during checking, 20 grams of heroin was recovered from the driver of the vehicle, a police officer said.
The accused has been identified as Ranjit Choudhary, a resident of Gangyal area of Jammu, he said, adding he was arrested under various sections of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act and a probe is on.
