AIMIM spokesman and Telangana MLA Ahmad Balasa announced the name of six candidates at a press conference here.
Balasa said, wherever Muslim population was not in large number, the party would field a non-Muslim candidate.
He said that the party had received applications from people interested in contesting on AIMIM ticket in other constituencies and the party would announce the names of its rest of the nominees later.
AIMIM chief and Hyderabad MP Asauddin Owaisi had announced that his party willl on 24 seats in four districts of Seemanchal where Muslim population is in significant number.
