A bus carrying members of a marriage party lost control and overturned near Badki Ghosi village under Hilsa police station area in Nalanda district in which Ranjeet Bind died on the spot, while 15 others sustained injuries, police said.
The injured were admitted to a sub-division hospital at Hilsa for treatment where the condition of two of them was stated to be critical, they said.
The ill-fated bus was carrying some members of a marriage party to Bind in Nalanda district.
In a related incident in Gopalganj district, 12 members of a marriage party were injured after the bus in which they were travelling lost control and fell in Gandak canal near Balivansagar village under Vishambharpur police station area, police said.
The injured were admitted to a hospital where the attending doctors referred three seriously injured persons to Gorakhpur.
