Ram Das (42) was killed when the boiler in Kaka Chemical factory on Chandausi-Badaun road under Chandausi police station area exploded, Superintendent of Police Atul Saxena said.
The factory makes the chemical used in manufacture of soap.
The injured has been admitted to hospital and the body sent for postmortem examination, he added.
