The two families last night entered into a scuffle over a property dispute and both the sides attacked each other with lathis and knives, injuring Nisar Shah (35) and his brother Bashir (38), police said.
The injured were rushed to the district hospital where Nisar succumbed to injuries this morning, police said.
No arrest has been made so far in this connection.
