The incident took place in the morning when the bus was going from Jaipur to Jaisalmer and it collided with a truck coming from the opposite side, they said.
The deceased was identified as Isher Khan, the truck driver.
The injured passengers were admitted to a government hospital in Jaisalmer, they said, adding that the remaining passengers of the bus were brought to Jaisalmer by another bus.
