One killed, three hurt in MP mine mishap
Narendra Markam (28) was killed as a large portion of a boulder fell on him and other workers when a blast was being carried out in the mine to extract manganese ore, police said.
The injured persons were admitted in the district hospital at Balaghat, police said.
The Kotdwar (a village level government employee) has been placed under suspension by Tehslidar for not intimating the senior officials about the blasting being carried out at the site.
The village sarpanch has demanded registration of FIR against the owner of mine on charge of murder, police said, adding further investigations are on.
