One Maoist held in Jhargram, large cache of arms seized

A joint team of the CRPF and state police seized a large cache of arms and ammunitions and arrested one Maoist today from Shiyarbinda village of Belpahari area here, police said.
The person identified as Jagan Tudu of Binpur's Shurdiha, was arrested during a joint raid of the CRPF and the state police, they said.
Interrogating Tudu, the 169 CRPF later seized a large cache of ammunitions including three locally made pistols, three .303 rifles, ten detonators, 108 live cartridge, 12 kilogrammes of RDX and 100 yard of electric wire, police said.
Tudu was later produced at the Jhargram Court and sent for a seven-day police custody, they said.
