They are looking for eight other associates, including a woman, of the accused identified as Nazim in connection with the robbery, sources said.
Acting on a tip-off, police arrested Nazim, son of Nanhe of Aashiyana Colony in Lisari Gate, city SP Om Prakash said.
Besides, one bike, four mobile phones, eight SIM cards, statements and fake IDs used in opening accounts in various banks, a pen drive, photos of the gang members, and a paper cutting of the news on Rs 22 lakh robbed through e-banking from Mumbai, he said.
The gang had opened fake accounts across the country including in New Delhi and Mumbai and were depositing crores of robbed money there, the SP said.
