One person dies another falls unconscious after entering well

One person died and another fell unconscious after they entered an abandoned well to clean it in Bankura district, police said.

Two persons - Gopal Bauri and Uttam Bauri entered the well at Tiluri Kripamoyee high school and fell unconscious, the police said.

Both were rushed to Saltora Block primary health centre where doctors declared Gopal brought dead, they added.

The body has been sent for postmortem.

In another incident in Bankura district, a labourer, identified as Tarapada Majhi, working at Harulia canal repair project suddenly fell unconscious. He was rushed to Taldangra hospital where doctors declared him brought dead, the police said adding an unnatural death case has been started.
